snowshoeing

Snowshoeing at Okemo Valley Nordic CenterSnowshoeing is allowed on Okemo Mountain (lift access is not available) and at the Okemo Valley Nordic Center.

At the Nordic Center, you can enjoy a hike through pristine meadows and hillsides on 13km of dedicated snowshoe trails. A Trail Fee is required. Check out our Snowshoe Trail Network. For more information on the Okemo Valley Nordic Center, visit our Nordic Center page.

Or, take a hike on Okemo Mountain! Take a self-guided trek on Okemo's 5km maintained network of snowshoe trails that trace the periphery of Okemo Mountain on Easier and Intermediate terrain. Snowshoeing is great exercise and you can enjoy it at your own pace. Check our Interactive Trail Map and follow the purple dotted lines for your snowshoe hike. There is no trail fee to snowshoe on the trails of Okemo Mountain. Although, snowshoers are not allowed on the lifts. Be sure to stay on the side of the trail at all times and avoid snowshoeing alone.

The Jackson Gore base area also offers several kilometers of snowshoe trails that meander around the forest and over frozen streams. There are also several geocaches hidden around Okemo, the Jackson Gore base area and the Nordic Center for those with a gps unit.
